								of the Regional Hydrologist, NE Region, located in the

								Virginia District, Richmond, Virginia.



								The selectee of this position will perform the following

								duties:



								Perform developmental programming, system analysis, network

								and/or equipment installation and maintenance assignments.





								Install new and revised commercial off-the-shelf software

								packages.  Perform basic configuration of microcomputers to

								interface with existing LAN and mainframe computers.

								Provide assistance to staff in using various computer

								equipment and software.  Code or modify software modulars or

								scripts.



								Perform routine updates of various microcomputer and

								mainframe applications.  Serve as backup support for the

								database and server administration.
